JAMMU, May 1: Sehwag Cricket Academy defeated TCC by 9 wickets in the ongoing Junior Pitch T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by the SCA at Heritage School ground, here.
Batting first, TCC scored a modest total of 94 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process.
In reply Sehwag Cricket Academy scored 95 runs in 14 overs by losing one wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Shivansh top scored with 45 runs, while Azan contributed 36 runs and took one wicket by conceding 13 runs in his 4 overs. Azan was declared as man of the match.
The matches are being held under the supervision of Jagtar Singh, former Ranji Trophy Player and Suresh Singh, former Ranji Trophy Player and BCCI Level-1 coach.
