An awareness programs on anti-doping in sports was organized by SAI Training Centre Jammu at Indoor Complex of the MA Stadium on Tuesday.
Dr. Bikash Medhi Expert from the National Anti- Doping Agency (NADA) was the resource person who interacted with over a hundred sportsmen, coaches and sports administrators and explained to them at length the effects of doping on the life of sports persons.
He also explained ways and means for a healthy sports career and ways to enhance sports performance without falling in the trap of doping.
It is pertinent to mention here that NADA is conducting such awareness programs to sensitize young athletes on the ill effects of doping all across the country.
