JAMMU, Oct 31: Jammu Rising Stars registered win over Singh Akhnoor Lions by 7 wickets and entered into the final of the ongoing U-15 Diwali T-20 League for boys, being organized by Vishal Club Jammu in collaboration with Jammu Police at Parade Ground, here today.
Batting first, Singh Akhnoor Lions scored 61 runs in 16.5 overs for the loss of all the wickets. Shubam made 15 runs, while Soren scored 11 runs.
For Jammu Rising Stars side, Abay Tondon, Agastaya and Nalin took 2 wickets each, while Praful Dhar, Tushar and Laith shared one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, Jammu Rising Stars chased the target in the 7.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Ayush Andotra was the top scorer with 22 runs, while Kannav made 13 runs.
For Singh Akhnoor Lions side, Shubam took 2 wickets.
Ayush Andotra was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Sandeep Manchanda, Sanjay Manchanda, Madan and Shugul.
In tomorrow’s fixture, MIER Academy will take on Singh Akhnoor Lions.
