JAMMU, Oct 27: J&K Cycling Association conducted the trials for selecting State Cycling Team for 21st National Road Cycling Championship to be conducted by Cycling Federation of India at Aligarh, UP from November 5 to 8.
The trials were conducted at MA Stadium, Jammu. During the trials, Cyclists under Senior, Junior and Sub Junior categories were selected under the supervision of Om Parkash, general secretary, J&K Cycling Association, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Joint Secretary and Ajay Kumar, NIS Coach.
The team selected under Senior category comprised Mohd Akbar, Mehraj Qayoom, Adil Teli, Waheed Ahmad, Mohd Saleem, Mansoor Ahmed, Anzil Qadami and Hilal Ahmed Junior. The team selected under Junior category consisted of Yogesh Sharma, Rameez Raja, Adil Ahmed and Mashooq Maqbool while Sub Junior team comprised of Mohmiss Ismail and Bilal Ahmed. Youth Boys team comprised of Sheikh Saqib, Adnan Muzafar and Ahmed Dar.
