JAMMU, Oct 8: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized State Deadlift Power Lifting Championship and selected power lifters to participate in the upcoming Subrata Classic International Deadlift Power Lifting Championship to be held at Milanee Hall, Jamshedpur, Tata Nagar from December 27 to 30.
In men category, Vickramjeet Singh emerged winner in above 120 kg category, Jagbir Singh Bahu in 105 kg, Vishal Singh Rakwal in 74 kg, Akhil Mehra in 83 kg and Mohammad Aslam in 93 kg.
The team was awarded by Speaker Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta and Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga in presence of Rakesh Jain, President of the association and Narender Singh Manhas, Secretary.
