JAMMU, Oct 2: Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) smashed Gopinath Cricket Club (GCC) by a huge margin of 133 runs and sailed into the semis of the ongoing 1st Coloured KP Cup, being played at KC School ground, here today.
Electing to bat first, OCC made 225 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Deeker played a splendid inning of 102 runs off 50 balls including 10 boundaries and 7 sixes, while Vicky chipped in 63 runs with the help of 8 boundaries and 3 sixes. Puneet made 25 runs off 12 balls including 3 boundaries and one six.
From GCC side, Bal Ji scalped 2 wickets, while Sunny took one wicket. In the second inning, GCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 92 runs by losing all wickets. Vicky Koul scored 30 runs, while Kamal made 25 runs.
From OCC side, Manu scalped 3 wickets, while Chander and Praful took 2 wickets each.
Deeker was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sanjay and Rajesh as umpires, while Sahil Bhat maintained the scorecard.
