JAMMU, Sept 7: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association (JKSPLA) today announced State team for Asian/Oceania Bench-Press Power Lifting Championship to be held at New Zealand from December 4 to 11, this year.
The team comprised of Ankush Bhatia, Rahul Saberwal, Sharon Mattoo, Ajay Mehra, Tarlok Singh, Sahil and Ribbu in Men (senior) Category and Anu Gupta in Women Category, will represent India in the championship.
The team was selected after the final nomination and dope test results taken by State Power Lifting Association and was announced during a meeting of the association held tonight in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary of the association and Rajesh Gupta, MLA East.
